Time to add another café-worthy coffee drink to your repertoire. Honey and almond extract elevate the flavor of our PapaNicholas Donut Blend coffee. The perfect cold brew for a warm autumn afternoon. Enjoy!
- ½ c. PapaNicholas Donut Blend Ground Coffee
- 32 oz. water
Honey Almond Syrup
- ½ c. honey (170g)
- ¾ c. water (170g)
- 1 ½ tsp. almond extract
Honey Almond Cold Foam
- 2 tbsp. whole milk
- 2 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp. honey almond syrup
Step 1: Add the coffee grounds and water to a french press. Stir the mixture well, then place the lid on top of the french press and let the coffee steep in the fridge overnight.
Step 2: Once the coffee has steeped overnight, slowly push down on the french press to separate out the coffee grounds.
Step 3: To a small saucepan, add the honey, water, and almond extract. Set the mixture over medium heat and stir until the honey dissolves into the water.
Step 4: Let the syrup come to a simmer, then remove it from the heat and transfer it to a container to cool.
Step 5: Once you’re ready to make your drink, add the milk, heavy cream, and 1 tbsp. of the honey almond syrup to a medium sized cup or container. Froth or shake the mixture until it’s thick and foamy.
Step 6: Pour 8 oz. of cold brew over ice and stir in 1 tbsp. of the honey almond syrup. Top the drink off with the honey almond cold foam, some almonds, and an extra drizzle of honey. Serve and enjoy!
