Just in time for the Halloween festivities! This Dark Chocolate Mocha will warm up the day and your taste buds. Our PapaNicholas Swiss Chocolate coffee brings depth to this mocha along with chopped dark chocolate and black cocoa powder. A festive stencil on top completes the drink! Enjoy!
Dark Chocolate Mocha
- 1 tsp. black cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp. dark chocolate, chopped (30g)
- 2 oz. PapaNicholas Swiss Chocolate Espresso
- 8 oz. milk of choice
Dark Chocolate Cold Foam
- 2 tbsp. whole milk
- 2 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. black cocoa powder
Step 1: Add the black cocoa powder and chopped chocolate to a coffee mug, and brew the espresso directly over it. Mix the chocolate and espresso together until the chocolate has melted.
Step 2: Add in the milk and ice.
Step 3: Make the dark chocolate cold foam. Add the milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cocoa powder to a medium sized cup or container. Froth or shake the mixture until it’s thick and foamy.
Step 4: Top the drink off with the dark chocolate cold foam.
Step 5: (Optional) Use a Halloween stencil to create a design on top of the mocha. Dust first with cocoa powder, then powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
